1. Purpose
This Data Handling Information document outlines how DesignMUSTER technologies manages client project assets, access credentials, staging databases, and operational information during software development engagements.
2. Inquiry Data
Data submitted via website forms is processed securely over encrypted HTTPS connections and forwarded to our official email (info@designmuster.com).
3. Project Data
Client business requirements, database schemas, workflow logic, and design assets shared for active projects are stored in restricted cloud environments accessible only by assigned project developers.
4. Access Credentials
Passwords, API keys, and server access credentials must be shared through encrypted password managers or secure credential vault tools. Clients should never submit server passwords through public website forms.
5. Test Data
We advise clients to provide anonymized or mock data for staging and development testing. Production databases containing real customer records should not be loaded into unencrypted local development machines.
6. Production Data
Handling, migration, and management of live production data during cloud deployment follow agreed security protocols established in the project scope.
7. Third-Party Platforms
Third-party integrations (such as Hostinger servers, PostgreSQL cloud databases, or transactional email services) handle data according to their respective security compliance standards.
8. Data Minimization
We adhere to data minimization principles, collecting and retaining only the data required to fulfill project development and administrative obligations.
9. Confidentiality
All client files and proprietary specifications are protected under strict internal non-disclosure practices and separate NDA agreements.
10. Backups
Code repositories are backed up via GitHub version control. Automated database backups during live operations are configured based on client hosting SLAs.
11. Retention and Deletion
Staging databases and temporary project build assets are safely decommissioned and deleted following final client sign-off and project handover.
12. Security Limitations
While we enforce technical safeguards, clients are responsible for enforcing strong password policies and access revocation for former employees on client-owned cloud accounts.
